These Vendor Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation as a seller (“Vendor”, “Creator”, “Artist”) on Art Barn International (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Platform”). By registering as a Vendor, submitting your work, or listing any item on the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Vendor Eligibility

To become a Vendor on Art Barn International, you must:

  1. Be at least 18 years old.
  2. Submit accurate personal, business, and payment information.
  3. Confirm that all artworks, products, or creative items submitted are original and legally owned by you.
  4. Agree to comply with our quality, authenticity, and content standards.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any Vendor application at our discretion.

2. Vendor Onboarding & Submission Process

All Vendors must follow the submission procedure below:

2.1 Submit Your Work

Vendors are required to:

  • Complete the “Submit Your Work” form on our website.
  • Upload clear photographs of the item(s).
  • Provide full product descriptions, dimensions, materials used, and pricing suggestions.
  • Confirm authenticity and ownership of the item.

2.2 Packaging & Marketing Fee (Mandatory)

To maintain professional presentation, promotion, and quality control, every Vendor pays a small Packaging & Marketing Fee, which covers:

  • Standard packaging materials
  • Professional product listing
  • Promotional exposure
  • Quality verification
  • Handling costs

This fee must be paid before an item is listed on the Platform.
Fees are non-refundable.

3. Listing & Approval of Items

Each item you submit will go through a review process.
We may:

  • Approve the listing
  • Request better photos or revisions
  • Adjust the description for clarity
  • Reject the item if it does not meet platform standards

We reserve the right to determine which items are suitable for sale on the Platform.

4. Shipping Options for Vendors

Vendors may choose one of the following shipping methods:

Option A — Direct Shipping to Customer

You keep the item with you and ship it directly when an order is placed.
You agree to:

  • Ship the item within the timeframe provided
  • Your liable for any damages that may occur during shipping
  • Use safe packaging
  • Provide tracking information
  • Cover any damages caused by poor packaging

Option B — Ship to Our Warehouse

You send the item to our facility before it is sold.
We will then:

  • Inspect the item
  • Store it securely
  • Handle the final shipping to the customer
  • Manage packaging and dispatch
  • You will pay handling fee after sale of item

This option often leads to faster customer delivery and smoother sales.

5. Order Fulfillment & Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times vary depending on product category, destination, and shipping method.

  • When shipping from our warehouse: Delivery may take up to 3 weeks depending on customer location.
  • When shipping directly from the Vendor: Vendor must meet the agreed shipping deadline.
  • Delays caused by customs, logistics, or the Vendor’s failure to ship on time are the Vendor’s responsibility.

6. Payment Terms: Vendor Earnings

6.1 Payout Process

Vendors are paid only after the item is sold AND successfully delivered to the customer.

Payment becomes eligible only when:

  1. The customer receives the item.
  2. The return/refund window (if applicable) has passed.
  3. The transaction has been verified by our system.

6.2 Payout Method

Payments are made via the payment method provided by the Vendor, such as:

  • Bank transfer
  • Mobile money
  • PayPal (where applicable)

6.3 Platform Commission

A commission fee will be deducted from the total sale price.
This fee is based on the category of the item sold.
You will receive the remaining net amount.

6.4 No Advance Payment

Vendors do not receive upfront payments.
Payment occurs strictly after sale and delivery confirmation.

7. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors must:

  • Provide accurate product details
  • Ensure items are original and authentic
  • Ship items safely and on time
  • Maintain high quality standards
  • Respond to customer or platform inquiries quickly
  • Keep their contact and payment information updated

8. Marketplace Rights & Responsibilities

We reserve the right to:

  • Adjust listing details for clarity
  • Promote or advertise your products
  • Set platform-wide discount campaigns
  • Delay or cancel listings that violate our policies
  • Remove any Vendor who fails to comply with the Terms

We do not guarantee sales, traffic, or exposure.
Marketing efforts depend on overall marketplace demand.

9. Intellectual Property

By submitting your work:

  • You confirm ownership of all rights to the item.
  • You grant us permission to display, market, and promote your item.
  • Images, descriptions, and promotional materials may be used across our website, social media, or ads.

10. Loss, Damage & Liability

If item is stored in our warehouse:

We take reasonable care of all items stored with us.
However, the Vendor bears final responsibility for:

  • Insurance
  • High-value item security
  • Pre-existing damage

If item is shipped directly by Vendor:

The Vendor is fully responsible for:

  • Packaging quality
  • Damage during transit
  • Lost shipments
  • Delivery delays

11. Returns & Refunds

If a customer requests a return, refund, or replacement, the Vendor agrees to cooperate fully.

Depending on the case:

  • The item may be returned to the Vendor or our warehouse.
  • Refunds may be deducted from the Vendor’s future payouts.

We will handle disputes fairly and transparently.

12. Termination of Vendor Account

We may suspend or terminate a Vendor account if:

  • Fraud is suspected
  • Items are counterfeited
  • Shipping deadlines are repeatedly missed
  • Vendor violates any policy
  • Poor customer feedback becomes consistent

You may request termination at any time, but pending orders must still be fulfilled.

13. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes will be posted on our website, and continued participation means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana (or your preferred jurisdiction).
Any disputes will be resolved under applicable national laws.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your item, registering as a Vendor, or listing any product on Art Barn International, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Vendor Terms & Conditions.
